What's the role?

In this role, you’ll look after a Hilti Store retail site, serving local clients and tradespeople who need products straight away. These might be small or big accounts, ranging from sole traders to large construction sites. You’ll have full responsibility to run your Hilti Store, which means the flexibility and freedom to make your own decisions. You might decide to hold public workshops or demonstration days, or come up with other ideas to market to your local customers. You’ll have broad product knowledge across the complete Hilti offering, which opens lots of career options for the future. If you need any help on a specialist product area, you can always rely on your team for advice. It’s a lot like running your own business, so you’ll need an entrepreneurial spirit and will reap the rewards of being proactive.

What does the role involve?

In this role you'll master our products and services and the competitive advantage. You actively present and demo the value proposition of our products and services in the shop and offer several lines to give customer choices. You use situational selling skills to find product and service needs and opportunities with your customer. You offer trade of repair tools over LVR warranty exchanges, close deals and turn them into purchase orders.

You plan effectively your outbound activities for every day/week is a part of your duties, as well as prepare how to achieve your quantitative call targets. You are a team player who ensures data quality, enable digital marketing, share opportunities with other teammates. Ensuring seamless processes for ordering, invoicing, cash handling, repair, reordering, obsolescence management, stock management and invoice documentation are your duties as well.

Organizing events and innovation days in the stores is included to the role and you play active role in, ensuring brand look of the shop, participating in promotions and inviting customers to demo sessions in the store.

What you need is:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Resilience in change and adapt to a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to grow a loyal customer base in a retail setting while strengthening the company’s position and market share
  • Ability to work with all departments to be a successful Hilti Center Representative (materials management, logistics, credit, marketing, technical services, and customer service)
  • Understanding of the process for getting things done in a matrix organization
  • Basic understanding of consultative selling techniques and sales in multi channel environment
